Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEAM) education is essential to promoting innovation and progress in society. Unfortunately, children in Africa face challenges in accessing quality STEAM education due to a variety of factors such as limited resources, lack of qualified teachers, and socio-economic barriers.
Our STEAM International Nonprofit Program provides hands-on, project-based learning experiences for students to discover and explore STEAM concepts, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and build confidence in their abilities.
We believe that every young person should have access to high-quality STEAM education regardless of their background, and our program aims to help close the opportunity gap by providing access to resources and support that they may not have access to otherwise.
The purpose of this proposal is to establish a STEAM education program for children in Africa that aims to bridge this gap and provide opportunities for them to learn and excel in STEAM subjects.
Online Learning Platform
Develop an online platform that offers access to interactive STEAM learning resources, video tutorials, virtual experiments, and coding exercises. This platform will provide continuous learning opportunities for students, irrespective of their geographical location.
STEAM Challenges & Competitions
Organize STEAM challenges and competitions that encourage students to apply their knowledge and skills to solve real-world problems. These competitions will foster creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork, while recognizing and rewarding exceptional talent.
Mentorship Program
Establish a mentorship program where students are paired with experienced STEAM professionals. Mentors will provide guidance, career advice, and support in exploring STEAM opportunities and pathways.
